Did you think about trying out your Artistically Inked stamp set as a background and mixing up the colours? I saw a card by Jen Tinline and it made me wonder about mixing colours to match with the sentiment or occasion for the card. So I started playing and here is what I came up with.
Do you think the mood created by ink colours matches the sentiment on each of the cards? The abstract backgound is a different way of using this lovely stamp set. You see masses of posts using these stamps in colours to match the Expressions In Ink papers that coordinate with this stamp set. See this post as an example. However not many posts appear using this stamp set in other colour ways.
The sentiments are from the versatile Stampin’ Up! stamp set Peaceful Moments. This set has seven useful sentiments to create cards for a multitude of occasions.
Add some embellishments and a relatively quick and easy card is created.
When creating your Artistically Inked abstract background start stamping with the round “rose” image. Then add the larger abstract flower image and then fill in the spaces with the water stain stamp. Finish the pattern stamping using the tiny dots stamp.
Enjoy creating different colour combinations. Just have a play and see where the mood of the colours take you.
Happy Stamping!
