Isn’t this card pretty? I love the Double Z fold Card style, it’s my new favourite card style! Stampin’Up! has produced a beautiful suite of products in the Tropical Oasis Suite.
The products from the Suite that I used in my card are the stamp set – Timeless Tropical, the dies – In the Tropics, the ink – Saddle Brown Stazon, ribbon – 8mm braided Burlap ribbon. The suite also has embellishments – Tropical Oasis trinkets, embossing folder – Coastal Weave 3D, and Memories & More Cards – Tropical Oasis.
I am so pleased Stampin’Up! has introduced a new Stazon colour. Before I became a Stampin’Up! demonstrator more than 13 years ago I always stamped my projects in a brown Stazon Ink. I like the softer look you get when stamping in brown rather than black.
If you are wondering the card base colour is Blushing Bride with a Whisper White card mat. I coloured the frangipanis with Daffodil Delight Stampin’Up! markers. The sentiments were stamped in Old Olive ink and the larger sentiment was die cut using the Painted Labels dies. Do you like the leaf die I used for the “hello” greeting? That die is one of the In the Tropics dies. I sponged the die cut edges with Old Olive ink.
I have to say I am very pleased with how this card turned out. Something pretty to look at and admire!!! Do you get like that when you have made a card you are really pleased with? You walk past your desk and see the card and it fills your heart with pleasure!
