I’ve slowly been working out this computer business! Slowly being the operative word! I have (with a bit of help – thankyou DH!) managed to take a photo of one of my recent cards with my new camera ( Lumix) that I bought especially for my trip to South Africa in April. That’s another post that I will fill you in on at another time!
And we have managed to upload it to the computer and to here! Yeah, I know most of you get this done in your sleep – I’m just a newbie at this!
Any way back to my card – I made this for my son’s 20th birthday in January and was very pleased with how it turned out. It was very appropriate seeing as he is a carpentry apprentice! The set For Father is in the current Stampin’Up! Summer Mini catalogue which you can view here. I originally didn’t order this set but after seeing so many lovely samples using it I decided I would just have to add it to my ever expanding collection!
I have stamped the background stamp Sanded Kraft card with Versamark. The image was coloured on Stampin’Up! watercolour card using an aqua painter and the inkpads for colour. I mounted it onto Real Red then Basic Black card. The ribbon is from the Ribbon Originals set Jersey. I added the black brads and finished off with the saying from Family Phrases punched out using the large oval punch.
DS was tickled pink with it!
Okay my first card post done – I will try again soon and show you the cards I am doing in my workshops during Sale-a-bration.
Have a lovely day!
Janine.
