I am really enjoying doing these quick and easy cards! You can put together one of these in 10 minutes or less.
The Butterfly card uses the set Dream Du Jour and the Star card uses the stamp set Occasionally. I bought this set during the recent Incentive sale and had not used it yet – but it is perfect for making this style of card.
Butterfly card – Card colours are Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White. Inks are Pretty in Pink and Pixie Pink. Ribbon is Chocolate Chip grosgrain. The bow is tied separarately and stuck on with a mini glue dot to the ribbon on the card. Attaching your bow this way gives a nice smooth finish to your ribbon.
Star card – Card colours are Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White. Inks are Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White. Ribbon is Real Red grosgrain. Again the knot is tied separately to the ribbon attached to the card.
