Time has certainly flown by – can’t believe it’s two weeks since I last did a post. I thought I would show off two more waterfall cards that I have done to show in my next class.
The butterfly one I quite like but I’m not so sure about the Pocket Silhouettes one. I think it’s the Melon Mambo, it’s a bit bright!
The butterfly stamp – All a Flutter, is from the current mini catalogue and is sold as a single stamp. The image was stamped off centre to give the impression of a butterfly fluttering around the card as the waterfall page was turned. The background for this card is En Francais. This is one of the large background stamps from Stampin’Up! I stamped it in Going Gray and sponged around the edges in the same colour. Pity this is a colour that will be shifting on when the next catalogue comes out. I love the softness of it.
I’ve finally used my Big Shot to show you what it can do!!! The Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder was used to create the background in the Pocket Silhouettes waterfall card. It really is very effective.
Still not sure about the Melon Mambo/Pocket Silhouettes card – what do you think?
Oh it looks great! The melon mambo is bright but you need that sometimes 🙂 Lovely waterfall cards. Something I've NEVER tried but think I might have to give it a go now.
I've always thought they would be difficult, but once you do one they are quite straight forward to create. Look forward to seeing your creations.
