Just a quick post today, I’m off to do a class on creating invitations which should be fun and interesting!
I made this card last weekend because I sorted through my sample box and discovered a majority of my samples were from before the Colour Renovation and so by rights needed to be updated. So the process has begun!
My original of this card is on this blog done in Taken with Teal in A5 format. This time it is a 6×6 card and the colour is Perfect Plum. Emboss resist is such a WOW technique to show at workshops. Basically you create a background on your card piece. Wipe over with your embossing buddy then stamp your image in Versamark ink and cover with clear embossing powder. Heat set with your Heat Tool, then brayer over the whole piece die ink. Here I’ve used the same colours but you can use contrasts if you like. Then wipe over the whole piece with a tissue to take off excess ink from the embossed image and your piece is ready to be made into a card.
Hope you have a great weekend!
