Welcome to our Fabulous Sayings Product of the Month Blog Hop featuring the stamp set that is the February Product of the Month. This month we have a terrific stamp set, Fabulous Sayings, available for $9 if you choose to get it with a Stampin’ Up! order of $125 or more Australian dollars. It is versatile set featuring many of the commonly used phrases we like to add to our cards or scrapbook pages.
I took inspiration for my card using this stamp set from a blog post I saw on the Stampin’ Up! blog. Did you know Stampin’ Up! has a blog? See the post about using sketches here. The blog is full of useful information to assist you with your papercrafting, so is well worth checking out.

To add interest to my card I added a die cut frame using the largest die from Sentimental Framing dies. These dies are retiring so are featured in the Last Chance Sale, which means they remain available only while stock lasts. The frame created a pretty outline to frame the repetitive sentiment. The long skinny die for the friend greeting is from Words of Beauty dies and the Hello was die cut from my go to die set Nested Essentials.

I chose to use the 2024-2026 In Colors for my card because I have a big supply of these In Colors and they will be retiring at the start of May. It’s time for me to focus on using them a lot more in my paper crafting to reduce my pile of cardstock! So we have Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock and Peach Pie featured on my card today.
The embellishments are Iridescent Foil Gems. They can be found in the Annual Catalogue and add a touch of bling to the card. A card nearly always can do with some bling!

For an outlay of $9 Aust this stamp set will give you loads of use, so when you see the message pop up when you are ordering that you have qualified to add the Product of the Month to your order seriously consider clicking on yes. Also don’t leave ordering too late in the month as the Product of the Month each month is only available while stock lasts.
I love the font used and the size of the greetings in this set. Here’s another card to share with you so you can see the Happy Birthday in use. If you follow me on Facebook you will know I am a fan of quick and easy cards. I love the simplicity of this card! What do you think of the Happy Birthday stamp? Can you see lots of uses for it in your card making? The die cut leaves are part of the Nature’s Symphony die set. I’ll be featuring other cards I made using this set of dies and matching stamp set in my weekly newsletter this week. You can subscribe to my newsletter by clicking on the “Subscribe” tab on this page. If you are looking for a stamp set to use for backgrounds, have you had a look at the Stripes & Dots set in the Annual Catalogue? A simple way to add an interesting background behind your featured image.

I hope I have given you some inspiration plus let you know about the Stampin’ Up! blog. It’s well worth a visit! If you didn’t see the January ideas for the Product of the Month, click here to see some ideas using papers as the card feature.
