My Sale-a-bration Beautifully Happy card idea was taken from a presentation done at our Stampin’ Up! OnStage last year. I have played with it and created my own version. I made one card (the Pale Papaya one) and loved it so much I had to make more in different colours and using different papers from the Fancy Flora 6×6 paper collection. The Beautifully Happy stamp set is just one of the five stamp sets in the Sale-a-bration catalogue that you select for free with a $90 or $180 AUD order. Four sets are available with a $90 AUD and the Beautifully happy set is available with a $180 AUD order during Sale-a-bration.
The paper designs in the Fancy Flora paper pack make fabulous backgrounds for your images. I chose a background paper for my card base card front, then chose a coordinating ink colour for the flower image. So Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent was the chosen colour for the card above. Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow got the call up for the card below.
Creating great images with this stamp set is so easy! The set is a two step stamp set. this means you stamp the outline image then you add in the fill in image using the matching stamp for the section you are filling in. If you don’t like colouring in then this is the easy way to get the outline stamp images coloured in. Even the little bee has a fill in stamp to colour it in!
There are new patterned vellums in the new Mini Catalogue, however I don’t have them yet so I used the Layering Designs Vellum from the Annual Catalogue. The hexagon shape die cut is from a new die set in the January – April Mini Catalogue called Something Fancy dies. I am rather fond of the new rhinestones used on these first two cards – Iridescent Pastel Gems.
Here is the Pale Papaya and Evening Evergreen version of the design.
I am sure you will love creating with this pretty stamp set and the versatile array of sentiments that come with the set. Sale-a-bration is on now and runs until February 28.
