Circle of Friendship card

Spread the love

Here is another birthday card I made for my good friend and stamping buddy Heather. Her birthday was Friday – Happy Birthday Heather! I couldn’t post it earlier otherwise she would have seen it!
I got the inspiration from Lorraine Castellon-Rowe’s blog. The things you find when you are searching for something totally unrelated!!!! Thank you Lorraine. I was looking for Circle Scissor ideas at the time – and I did use the circle scissors for this card!
I got the colour combination from the new Kaleidoscope DSP colours in the new Summer Mini catalogue which I love!
The flowers are punched out using the 5 petal punch and stamped with the dot stamp from Bird on a Branch, then sponged in the matching card colour ink. The other flowers are punched using Boho Blossoms punch and Trio Flower punch. They have all been fixed together using circle Rhinestone brads from the Fire and Ice selections.
Must say I was very pleased with the result and am thinking of trying one using butterflies for my daughter’s upcoming birthday.
