What do you think of my Stampin’Up! Badger Besties conga line card? It’s been a while since I did a card using masking and it always surprises me how easy it is when I do use that technique.

The trick to successful masking you need to remember is when you cut out the image to be used as your mask, is to cut just inside the stamped outline. By doing this you avoid getting a tiny gap of clear space occurring between your images. See how my badgers all line up there are no outline gaps between each image.

I loved the Badger Besties stamp set as soon as I saw it in the Annual Catalogue. I don’t normally order the character type stamp sets however this one caught my eye straight away. One of the reasons I shy away from these stamps is the colouring in of them. I am not confident in doing a great job on them but the badgers have proved me wrong. they are so easy to colour in and get a good result using Stampin’Blends Smoky Slate.

This years 6×6 Designer Series Paper Assortments are getting a good workout by me too as this years patterns make terrific backgrounds. The dies are from the Stitched So Sweetly die set. This set of dies is my go to set along with Stitched Rectangles and Ornate Frames.

Get to and try some masking, you will enjoy it!

Happy Stamping!
