These cards are my Stampin’Up! Team shoebox swap cards from our recent craft retreat in Maldon. You can read about it here. Each attendee had to provide a card idea along with the supplies to create the card. So nine attendees meant eight cards to create along with everything else each of us had planned to create while away. The card above is my swap card. The top one was the original however one of my team stepped it up by adding the embossed panel and it made a huge difference to my clean and simple design. The flowers were punched from Artistry Blooms papers. I’m so sad to see the square stitched shapes retiring I use them all the time.
Below is Mary Brooks card. Mary actually gave us the supplies to create two cards. This one using the Ride the Range bundle.
And this one using the dies from the Dandy Wishes die set.
The next card was created by Sharni Green using the Butterfly Brilliance bundle. I love how Sharni used the stamp as a background feature.
Next up is Nicole Goding’s card. Nicole created her card using the Snailed It bundle. I don’t have this bundle so this was a great opportunity to have a play with it.
Below is Lynette Boehm’s card using the Whisky Business stamp set. I am pleased to see this stamp set has carried over into the new catalogue.
One of my planned projects to create while I was away was a Double Diamond Fold card, so I was very pleased to discover that Rosie Spezzano had one of these cards as her shoebox swap. The card used the Dragonfly Garden bundle.
Below is Nicola Bushell’s gift card holder. Nicola also used the Snailed It bundle for her card. Below is the card front and the next photo shows the gift holder section inside the card.
Fi Cobbin used Artistry Blooms paper for her fun card. Below is the card inside the belly band and the next photo shows the card when opened. I made a booboo getting the sentiment straight so added the extra off set images to blur the fact my stamping was slightly off!
Finally this is Julie Higgin’s easel book card using Dandy Garden papers and the Dragonfly bundle. The sentiments are from the stamp set. I really need to recreate this card at some stage as I did not curl the “pages” enough to make them look like a book.
I hope you enjoyed checking out our card creations.
Happy Stamping!
