Four Feathers – Crayon Resist Card

Spread the love
When I purchased the Four Feathers stamp set from the Holiday catalogue last year I knew I wanted to create a Crayon Resist card using the set. It has only taken me 7 months to get around to getting it made but here it is!

The excuse to get the card made was I making sample cards for our upcoming Stampin’Up! stand and display at the Paper Arts Tarts Show on this weekend at the Melbourne Showgrounds. See more here.

To create Crayon Resist all you have to do is :-

Stamp images on glossy or semigloss cardstock using
Basic Black Classic Ink or Stazon ink.  With a white
crayon, colour in areas that you wish to remain white.
Sponge or bray classic ink over the images.
Use multiple colours or a spectrum pad.   After the
ink has dried, wipe off the crayon with a tissue.
As Stampin’Up! unfortunatley no longer have gloss card in their catalogue since I did these class
instructions some years ago, I have used our regular Whisper White cardstock which works fine for the technique.
Colours used are Pool Party card and ink and Hello Honey ink.
I really like it!
Cheers
