Do you have days where you are stuck for ideas or your MOJO goes AWOL? We all get them however when the inspiration dries up that is when the Stampin’Up! catalogues come into their own. Sit down and flick through the pages and you will soon find a design, colour combination or use of a particular stamp set that gets the creative ideas happening.
That’s how the above card came about. I had the new Ice Cream Corner Suite products however I couldn’t think of a good idea to start off my use of the products. So a look at the catalogue and I realised the Purple Posy card piece in the catalogue sample on page 48 of the Mini catalogue used the new Painted Texture embossing folder. That set off a spark of an idea, what if I apply ink to the embossing folder and try out that technique, will it look like swirls of icecream?
In the closeup above, what do you think? I used a Blackberry Bliss ink pad to add ink to the embossing folder. So apart from adding in the inked embossing folder my card is a CASE of the card in the catalogue. Once I had finished I was ready to keep crafting and got to and created my next set of class in kit cards, one of which is featured in my previous post using a selection of the Ice Cream Corner Suite products.
