What’s a Mystery Card Challenge you ask? This card challenge is something I have started doing with my Stampin’Up! Inksationals Team. I give them the card and paper measurements and they choose how they would like to create a card using those dimensions and Stampin’Up! products they have on hand. We then share our creations and to see the way everyone comes up with different ideas for the same dimensions is a lot of fun and so inspirational!
These are the dimensions I gave the team a few weeks ago for our first challenge.
Coloured card – Standard A5 card scored and folded at 10.5cm Stamp set with sentiments and images. Neutral card – 10 x 14.3 cm embossed with embossing folder of choice. DSP that has matching colours to your folded base card – x 4 pieces  9.5 x 3cm Neutral card 2 inch circle cut with die or punch Matching colour scallop circle next size up from 2 inch circle Ink pads in coordinating colours to the DSP Embellishments – ribbon and rhinestones/enamel dots
Te card above was the standard layout using these card dimensions. the card below was one I made thinking outside the square. Again same card and paper pieces just used in a different way. How different do they look?
Both my cards were created using 6×6 Designer Series Papers. The Night Of Navy card used paper from the Playing with Patterns pack. The card above uses paper from the Holiday catalogue paper pack Plaid Tidings.
Give this Mystery card idea a try and see what you come up with. I’d love to see what you create so share your idea in the comments below.
