However for this post I wanted to share with you the banner I created for my son Alex’s wedding to his partner Sarah.
The wedding was a wonderful celebration all about them and their love for each other. Sarah and Alex’s theme was for a country rustic feel to the decor so the banner I created fitted in beautifully.
The ink colours I used were Soft Suede and Night of Navy. I added embellishments like rhinestones and paper roses. Below are some of the preparation photos I took while making the individual banner pennants.
A lot of masking needed to take place on each pennant but as I worked through the banner I found I was quicker at doing each one, so what I thought would take me a week ended up being only 3 days work. And that was not solid time at it I was on holidays after all! the Build a Banner kit includes all the pennants, stencils and one spritzer bottle. You add extra spritzers if required and your choice of reinkers. I also used the Hearts stencil from the Hearts and Stars Decorative Masks. It was a lot of fun to create plus knowing it was for a very special occasion made the effort all worth it!
