For my class regulars who unfortunately missed this months
class I thought I would put up some of the cards I made using one of the techniques from the class. These are made using Stampin’up!’s lovely marker pens.
This technique is done by colouring directly onto the rubber of your stamp and then misting the stamp with water from a fine spray bottle and stamping the image on your card.
It takes a bit of practise to get the amount of spray onto the stamp right for the look you are after. Every image will come out differently even using the same stamp. A lot of spray will make the clours really run into each other, not enough and the image will be too dry.
We had a lot of fun trying out a new technique and seeing everyone’s creations.
Stamp sets used were Soft Summer from the current Spring mini catalogue, Lovely as a Tree, Upsy Daisy and Inspired by Nature.
If ever you would like to order any of these stamp sets from me please send me an email or give me a call. You can find my details on my profile.
