Create this Seaside Bay Z Fun Fold Card quickly and easily. Using the 6×6 By the Bay papers you can create continuity across the card front to the back panel. Plus with the two remaining paper pieces you can create another card at the same time with no paper wastage.
The base card is a standard card base, so for me in Australia it is an A5 card base ( 14.85 x 21cm ). Score the card at 10.5cm and crisp. Reflex the card front back on itself to create the Z fold and crisp with bone folder.
Cut your selected 6×6 paper from the By the Bay papers (two 6×6 papers with same design required). Trim the bottom of each paper piece to 14.35cm. Now trim one piece to 5cm and put aside the remaining paper piece for the second card. Trim the other 6×6 paper to 10.25cm. Put the remaining paper with the other trimmed off remnant.
Adhere the trimmed to size papers to the matching panels on the scored base card.
Now repeat the same adhering process on a second scored and folded base card. You will have two Z Fold cards where you have a continuity of the scenery/pattern on both cards and with minimal patterned paper wastage.
Decorate your cards as desired. I’ve stamped and die cut my images using the Seaside Bay stamps and Seaside Bay dies. They were inked and stamped with Soft Suede and then coloured with a light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend pen for the wading birds.
Add whatever words you feel will suit the occasion you made the card for.
Avoiding wastage with your precious papers is always a bonus. All you are left with after making these two cards is two 6 x 0.5 inch strips of paper.
